1. Do I need to register before posting an ad?

Yes. All users must create an account before posting any listings.

2. How long does a free listing stay active?

Free listings remain active for one month.
After 30 days, your ad will automatically be removed from the platform unless you renew or upgrade to a paid plan.


3. What is the difference between free and paid subscriptions?

  • Free Subscription: Allows users to post standard listings for 30 days.

  • Paid Subscription / Promotions: Designed mainly for businesses, offering a 12-month listing, with 3 months as a Premium (featured) listing for extra visibility.


4. How can I make payment for premium or business listings?

Payments for premium listings are made securely through Paystack using any valid bank card.
You’ll see the payment option at checkout when upgrading your ad or business profile.


5. Are ads reviewed before going live?

Yes. All free listings are manually approved before appearing on the site.
This helps us maintain quality, verify content, and protect users from scams or fake listings.
Once approved, you’ll receive an email confirmation that your ad is live.


6. How do buyers contact sellers?

Buyers can contact sellers directly on the site or through the contact number or WhatsApp provided in the ad.
Sellers’ contact information is public, but can be updated or removed at any time.

7. How can I edit or delete my listing?

You can manage your listings anytime from your account dashboard.
Simply log in, go to “My Listings”, and choose to edit, renew, or delete an ad.


8. What types of ads are allowed on Farmers Classifieds?

We welcome listings for anything farming-related, including:

  • Livestock and poultry

  • Crops and fresh produce

  • Farm equipment and machinery

  • Land and property

  • Agricultural services and products

🚫 Not allowed: Illegal substances, stolen goods, weapons, or any content that violates South African law.
Any user posting prohibited items will be permanently banned from the platform.


9. How does Farmers Classifieds protect users from scams?

We manually review listings, verify suspicious activity, and act on reports from users.
We also encourage all users to stay alert, verify buyers or sellers, and never send money before meeting in person.

10. Can I remove or change my personal information?

Yes. You can update or remove your information anytime through your profile settings:

11. How do I report a problem or get support?

Response times may vary between 12 and 48 hours, depending on the complexity of the issue.


12. What happens if I break the rules or post prohibited content?

Any user who posts illegal, fraudulent, or misleading ads will have their listings removed immediately and may be permanently banned from using Farmers Classifieds South Africa.


13. Can the Terms and Policies change?

Yes. We may update our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, or other guidelines at any time.
